The Theatre on King is happy to present the Peterborough premier screening of “Shakeup” by Jesse Pilgrim
Shakeup: Rich (Wes Ryan) does the numbers, while Zoe (Simone McCormick) does the leg work. Their set up: keeping the booze flowing. When the supply slows to a trickle, a supernatural occurrence creates a vast fortune. But can Zoe get across town before Rich blows it? In a bizarre twist, Rich and Zoe cash in on their years of drinking.
Jesse Pilgrim, in his first film, presents a personal and outlandish ode to the ups and downs of drinking.
In addition to SHAKEUP, two other films will be presented: OPHELIA GOES FLOATING, written and directed by Peter Blow, with music by The Tin Vespers; and OUTER PARLOR, by Michael Morritt, a Peterborough premiere.
