The Theatre on King would like to invite you to the next in its workshops on theatre, Intro to Stage Lighting with Ryan Kerr.
In this workshop, the basics of theatrical stage lighting will be explored: from lighting instruments to lighting boards, from washes to spots, the difference between lighting for theatre and lighting for dance, maybe even some colour theory. Even if you don’t want to be a lighting designer, this workshop will assist those in the industry better communicate with their technicians.
Ryan Kerr is currently technical director of Public Energy and the artistic director of Fleshy Thud and The Theatre on King with almost 30 years of technical theatre experience.
