The Theatre on King is excited to start off its 2019 season with The Mute Canary by Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes. A study in the difference between sex and power, the play — despite being written a century ago — eerily shadows the current political crisis in the U.S., making this show an extremely thought-provoking and relevant drama.

The Mute Canary was written in 1919 in the midst of the post-WW1 Dada explosion. The Mute Canary presents a world that is cruel, violent, funny, unpredictable, and absurd.

Director – Ryan Kerr
Featuring – Matt Gilbert, Kate Story, and Dan Smith
