Three short plays by Václav Havel
Václav Havel – dissident and playwright – served as the first democratically elected president of the Czech Republic after the fall of communism. Havel’s best-known theatre works, “The Vaněk Plays,” feature a sort of Everyperson at their centre; Vaněk became a symbol for Czech dissidents during the Communist era.
TTOK’s is animating three of these short plays, and each of the actors will play Vaněk in turn!
