The Launch Event took place on Friday, February 16th at 6 PM at The Theatre On King. The event featured a meet and greet of fellow filmmakers, a Q&A session, team assignments, and distribution of inspiration packages. Participants then had 48 hours (give or take) to create their masterpieces. Production teams ranged from as small as one person to as large as four, with any number of performers allowed. Participants were free to film whatever they wanted, however they wanted, as long as nobody got hurt. The guideline was to keep the content suitable for a 14A audience and under, with a maximum film length of 10 minutes.
After a whirlwind of creation, the participants reconvened at The Theatre On King, where a screening of their magnificent creations took place at 7:30 PM. Prizes were awarded at the end of the night.
