Mx Caligula has been carving their own lane in the Ottawa Drag scene for 4½ years now. A lover of the stage and making an audience smile, this métis, mustachioed menace pulls from a Mary Poppins sized bag of refrences and inspiration for their art. Horror movies, video games, Pro-Wrestling, sketch comedy, classic literature, stupid internet memes; there is nothing that Caligula has the gall (or lack of shame) to be inspired from and to bring to the stage in a high energy, conceptual and bootylicious package with that always has a sleazy 80’s sheen. When asked, Caligula said that their greatest strength is their passion and versatility but also expressed discomfort with referring to themselves in the 3rd person for this bio.

A former Mx.Capital Pride; they’ve got thighs like thunder, a booty like a boulder and a 3rd alliteration…. It’s Caligula!

Pu Ssay is tight, their style is clean, and they always keep it fresh.
New to the Nogo stage but born to perform, Pu Ssay serves looks, energy, and attitude. Still exploring their drag identity, they keep things unexpected—whether it’s fierce, funny, or just a little bit thirsty. One thing’s for sure: they put the lit in clit, and they’ll make you feel it.

Missery: I was born at a very young age and tossed out to be raised by feral condors in the Andes valleys. I spawned in Bolivia, didn’t really have a choice in the matter… but it is the land that saw me grow and from which the fantasy of Missery first came to be. Aside from my lovely parents, I was raised and influenced by the beauty of wilderness, the suspense of horror, and the fascination of my own imagination. Through my drag I discovered a venue where I can express all my desires and construct the vivid image that has been haunting me in my dreams. I love to showcase the idea of Missery in technicolor, blended with my Latino heritage, and always representing my culture of inspiring and wondrous history.
