Oreku is a Toronto-based producer, DJ, and head of the label Stereo Ferment. His genre-fluid sound blends tropical disco, psych-funk, house, techno, jazz, and leftfield club styles, keeping dancefloors energized with unexpected turns.

Originally from Melbourne, he has released two EPs and several singles with international DJ support and radio play on PBS 106.7, Worldwide FM, NTS, BBC Radio, and more. Alongside producing and touring across North America, Central America, and Australia, Oreku curates events and fosters Toronto’s underground through Stereo Ferment’s DIY, community-driven ethos.

This event marks the first in a new series of club nights at The Theatre on King. Taking place every other month, the series will feature out-of-town headliners and explore a range of genres and styles, all with a focus on underground dance music and delivering a high-quality club experience.
