Poetic Monologues

September 9th & 10th @ 7:00pm

“The first time I saw spoken word, I knew it was the monologue I’ve always dreamed of. Poetic Monologues is a living manscript of my new performance works.”

Ever wonder about Tchaikovsky’s gay lovers? Was the wrestler “Goldust” trans? How does the Cecil Hotel feel about all the murders? What does the ukulele sound like on a loop pedal with a singing saw?

This is also an open mic for any performer. Whether you’ve joined Charlie for the workshops during this residency or not, you’re welcome to bring your art to this stage! It doesn’t have to be
poetry, or perfect, come have fun and show us your talent. We can’t wait to be in your audience.
