My love of the theatre will now be consummated in dramatic matrimony. After
6 years of surviving slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, and experiencing love as boundless as the sea, TTOK and I have determined that our passion is mutual and lasting. We have decided to move to a new, larger space in order to make room for more creative expressions of theatrical love, hopefully for years to come.
However, like any sustainable relationship, we need the support of a loving circle
Your wedding gift/donation will:
- Support the move into and renovation of our new home: the former
Custom Copy location next door to TTOK’s current address on King Street
- Enable modest upgrades to theatrical equipment, audience seating, a dressing
room, an accessible washroom, a lobby, and other needful improvements
- Support our ongoing mission to be Peterborough’s hub for new and
risk-taking performance creation
- Enable new artists to be born and established artists to grow
You may donate by going to our GoFundMe campaign HERE!
and/or donate through Public Energy and receive a receipt for a charitable donation, either in person or online HERE! Where it asks “Apply your donation
to a specific fund set up by this charity,” use the drop-down menu to the right
of the bar and click “The Theatre on King Move”.
TTOK: grassroots theatre created by and for a real and living community, where
the space between artist and audience is reciprocal and lively. Supporting the arts means supporting your community. We invite you to the wedding!
The Theatre on King is an intimate black box theatre located in downtown Peterborough, just off of George Street.
Offering the community a dynamic space for theatre and dance performances, rehearsals, workshops, readings, classes, and more, TTOK is a laboratory where both professional and amateur artists can explore, learn and hone their skills, and gain encouragement and inspiration.
