- It is Public Energy’s (PE) mandate to showcase local “unheralded gems” and this show fits that bill. Since first presented by PE at The Theatre on King – TTOK in March, 2016 “Mel Malarkey Gets the Bum’s Rush” has received NATIONAL ATTENTION and has several upcoming festival dates. PE is happy to provide Peterborough audiences another opportunity to enjoy this 1931onederful show.
