The Theatre on King is proud to present Tristan Tzara’s “The Gas Heart”

The Gas Heart, written by Tristan Tzara was first staged as part of a Dada Salon at the Galerie Montaigne by the Paris Dadaists on June 6, 1921. The play takes the form of a three act absurd dialogue between characters named after human body parts. The Gas Heart attempts to overturn theatrical tradition and is perhaps “the greatest three-act hoax of the century.”
